I live next to a large lake north of Dallas. If I have to haul water from that lake, what are the different ways I can purify it. Fire making could be comprimised, so what else is there???? _________________ "If this ain't a mess, it'l do 'till one shows up" |

Stock up on coffee filters to use as a pre -filter and have a couple of gallon jugs of bleach on hand. Clorox has a web site with instructions as to the amount to use per gallon of water, you need something to carry the raw water in and others to filter / treat the water and yet more to store / use it out of---Don't spread the "coodies" from one container to the next, that would be like drinking out of the toilet _________________ I'm planning on living to 103 yr's, a then get killed by a jealous husband |
