then skyrocket upwards. In discussions on another forum I visit,some ranchers were telling us that due to the jump in feed cost,beef producers are shipping to market early and will not replenish the herds to past levels. This will cause a temporary glut on the market so prices will drop for a time. However, since they are not replenishing the herds,the shortfall in production will drive prices up.
OK! So what! Well,I suggest you buy all the beef you can freeze or dry while the prices are down. Chicken also!!  _________________ "If this ain't a mess, it'l do 'till one shows up" |

i'm not concerned about it (OK maybe a little) point is i have an alternative meat ressource: my mom's boyfriend is in the bisons buisness, i get about 10 pounds of meat every month, so no worries for now... _________________ you'll never feel more alive than on the edge of death |
