Which brand and model would it be???

I think I'm going to get this one!

It's made by Buck, has a 6" blade which is good for general duty and defense. The blade is high carbon steel which is durable yet easier to sharpen than hard stainless. Also good would be the Marine style fighting knife with the combo serrated blade.

I'd take the Buck. Very similar to the one I actually do use, but mine has the rubber grip to keep it from slipping. Keep in mind that it may gain attention of LEO & things that do not cool 'tacticool' get an easier pass than if you look like a Rambo stand-in.

+1 But this isn't for day to day, more for in-home use. A folder is what I carry day to day.

where i live, there's not much of a selection of quality knives
the best knife available is the Buck #119 (shown above)
also wouldn't mind having a Ka-Bar
like the AK-47, both proven thru history
the one requirement of any knife for me is

it must be a solid one-piece tang !!!

I don't own a sheath knife (I roll with folders because I like the ability to conceal better), but when/if I buy one it would probably be on of those semi-serrated ka-bar models. An entire corps of marines can't be wrong.

I do only own 1 sheath knife. Cold steel Carbon V SRK. That is if you don't count my Machete and the cold steel bushman that is in my BOB for my wife.

She is deadly with the bushman, Many a goat and chicken have met their end and my plate under her skill with that knife.
