So, what is your concealed carry weapon.
My usual daily carry is a Kimber Tac Pro II
What do you carry?

I would have liked to vote .45, but I really carry my Keltec 380 more often. The 45 is just too big and my big belly makes it hard to conceal. My 9mm is pretty compact so I will probably start carrying it more often. |

I have a 55" chest, so just about anything is going to stick out. I really just need to loose some weight.
I can't use inside the waist band at all. My Don Hume holster for my XD 45 is very comfortable, but it only conceals under a coat. I have a 44" waist, so my torso pushes everything out.
I do need to get smaller.
I plan on putting truglo sights on my XD 9mm subcompact in place of my Express sights that I really don't care for. I can conceal it pretty well, but the sights limit my effective range quite a bit. |

Practice firing w/o using the sites. Up to 21 feet, you can teach yourself to fire with both eyes focused on the TARGET, not the sites!!! _________________ "If this ain't a mess, it'l do 'till one shows up" |

You are correct, and I can put an entire mag into 2" at 7 yds., but I really just don't like the dot over line set up.
When practice shooting senarios, I can make good hits very quickly at close range. I would just be hard pressed to get a head shot at over 20 yds. They just aren't good for anything but extremely fast acqusition up close.
I shot tighter with all my 45 XD's without any loss in speed, with standard type 3 dots. |

If I could carry it would either be a Glock 22 or the Springfield XD in 40S&W my 1911 is way heavy and I like the 10+1 vs 8+1 I shoot well with the G22 but the XD fits my hand better |
