I finally got a photobucket account, so I can share my FAK with you guys. Please do not hesitate to suggest improvements or make other comments.

This is the kit that rides between the driver and passenger seats in my car and also goes backpacking with me. It's purpose is to help out in backwoods hiking situations, car accidents or other injuries I may happen upon while driving about, and misc. boo-boos. I use a bag I found at the hardware store that I picked because it had a bunch of pockets lining the outside and inside.

This is the front. From left to right the pockets contain:
1 roll kerlix
1 tube abrasion soothing cream
20 bandaids
9 4x4s
6 safety pins along the top edge

This is the back. From left to right:
10 Benzalkonium Chloride wipes
1 pair nitrile gloves, ziplocked and never touched by skin
15 4x4s (I sewed the blue strap on because they tend to fall out)
10 more Benzalkonium Chloride wipes

Now on to the guts:

5 rolls kerlix
1 baby roll kerlix
2 ACE self-adhering bandages
Pill bag:
20 generic claritin
16 ibuprofen
12 anti-diarrheal

2 chemical glow sticks
20 butterfly closures
1 black sharpie retractable
1 spritz bottle bactine
1 bottle eyedrops
1 mini bic
4 pairs nitrile gloves
3 super tampons (for their intended use, I won't be shoving one into any gunshots)
1 pair tweezers

1 bottle superglue
1 black trash bag
4 rolls athletic tape

Critique is welcome, remember that I'm a student and can't afford sexy hemcons or anything. If you have any questions, feel free.

This was made before my local walgreens had 3-packs of kerlix, so I had to buy individual which drove up the cost. All in all, I'ld say it's about 75 bucks for bag and supplies.

As for the outside pockets, everything's in there pretty snug. As you can see, the exterior 4x4 pocket has a denim strap that can button them down if I use half of them and the other half is too loose. I like using exterior pockets like that because I can get to vital stuff quickly, and it lets you "deal" out 4x4s, band-aids, and antibacterial wipes like a casino dealer deals cards out of a shoe.

Haha, yeah. That was a nice little sewing project to personalize the kit. Also, there's a 20 dollar bill folded underneath it, so if I need some emergency cash I can rip out one of the seams.
