If,for what ever reason, you can only have 3 firearms, which would they be and why??? Remember,we're talking an urban or suburban location w/o the ability to go to a BOL!!!! Oh!!! I almost forgat, All semi and full-autos have been banned and confiscated!!! Go with me on this,it should be interesting!!!
I would go w/ a lever gun and an 8 shot revolver in .357 and a Win. defender in 12ga.
.357 is relatively inexpensive and easy to reload. .38 can be used for practice. 12ga is a very effective CQB defensive rnd. _________________ "If this ain't a mess, it'l do 'till one shows up"

Agree on 12 Ga, I'd prefer .45 ACP for pistol though, Remington 700 .308 to reach out & touch someone.
That's by what I could really afford... Now since we are in what-if land, keep 12 Ga, Barrett .50 for long range, full auto AK for close. (You said SEMI auto was banned, not full!) _________________ "The more corrupt the state, the more numerous the laws."

I would have buy a .308 bolt gun with a short 18" heavy barrel like the FN tactical rifles with a decent 4-14 power Mildot AO scope like the nikon buckmaster I already have on one of my AR's.
My close up weapon would be a 12ga shotgun with a heavy reliance on buckshot and light recoil slugs.
My pistol would be the Ruger SP101 I already have. Its extremely accurate at decent range and very concealable. I have hit rocks in a field off hand at over 50 yds with the first shot and 147 grn. Silvertips. |

don't know much about guns, but i could use a small hangun like a walther P22(looks small enough for my hand), remington 870 (firepower only!!!)and M1 garant for long range accuracy, or a sniper rifle like a springfield... _________________ you'll never feel more alive than on the edge of death |

well here in ohio you can only dear hunt with a shotgun using slugs.so i would take the 870 combo i have the ruger 22 and it would be tough between the 9mm or 45 as the wife like the 9 and i like both.but for her sake it would probably be the 9mm. |
