If you have some extra budget,you might want to add a larger caliber rifle to your SHTF arsenal. I decided on the LE because I could buy it for under $200 and Mil-surp ammo is easy to find(You don't need all that much.500 rds or so)Also It has a 10 rd mag which is detachable.
Its the one on the left.

also dont discount that m44 on the right shorter barrel but cheap ammo with a mounted bayonet that folds out of the way.7.62X54 by no means a slouch for $60.00 to $80.00 bucks a rifle. |

| I see you are also sporting the M44 mosin nagant there on the right. Both are excellent rifles. |
