I'm a big fan of Ultralight Joe's Moose Goo (http://www.ultralightbackpacker.com/moosegoo.html). However, when I put it up for storage in ziplock bags, the oil in the peanut butter leeches out through the bags and makes everything really messy. Even double-bagging it, it still leeches through. Here's my recipe:

Peanut butter
Jam or chocolate syrup
whole wheat flour

I've tried adding more flour, but it doesn't seem to be working. Has anyone else run into this problem? Does anyone have any ideas?

I think I would switch to some homemade trail mix,SweetTea! Less messy and less hassle!

Oh, but you haven't experienced it. I had some after a 20+ mile bike ride yesterday and it's heavenly. Like a peanut butter and jelly smoothie, but better. Plus, it's more dense in calories. One sandwich-sized ziplock is about 1400 calories.

I'm thinking that's the way I'm going to go. I'll have to check out my local camping store when I get some money.
